Fuck this game. I signed up for the Clio Cup because I wanted to race in the FUCKING Clio Cup. Why have I had to participate in 21 random events (with who knows how many more to go) which I can’t decline? Also if by some chance anyone from Slightly Mad Studios see this, WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE XBOX ONE IMPULSE TRIGGERS?!

Other than that (actually there are a bunch of other issues), 8/10.

I was racing in the Kart championship earlier on PC with my steering wheel, first race was ok, when it came to the second race my steering wheel settings where completely messed up, I had to do 1 full rotation to go round a simple corner, this game is really buggy, wish I hadn’t bought it so soon

nah it really is messed up for all, before the race starts my wheel wants to default a quarter turn to the right so I have to hold it straight with the ffb pushing against me, it sorts itself out once the race begins though and I have been through the wheel config multiple times to try and fix it but nope :(

The game sure looks pretty, but man I'm glad I've held off buying it so far. Lots of mixed reviews and one gripe that seems to be unanimously agreed on is that it's full of bugs right now.
Sure wish they'd give us some more updates on Forza 6.

From what I’ve been hearing the XBone version is poorly optimized. I’ve had no issues with the PC version so far, neither have people I know. Best of luck to you though, it’s a real bummer. Hopefully Slightly Mad gets on top of the issues.

I have all the Forzas since the very first ten years ago, but I have yet to buy or even play Horizon 2. I'm more of a sim fan, unless it's an arcade racer that's insanely fun to play. I was pretty excited for Horizon and when I finally got it and played it a while, I was pretty underwhelmed with the whole thing and got bored of it quickly. I love 5, but am growing a bit bored with it as well, especially since 6 is coming later this year and the developers haven't paid 5 any attention in about a year (DLC, etc).
That being said, would you recommend I buy Horizon 2? Or just wait a bit longer for 6.

I made this mistake many years ago when RacePro came out. It was hyped for its realism, but it turned out to be a complete fucking bore to play, and the graphics sucked balls. I traded it a week later for half of what I paid for it. Never buying another non-Forza sim again.

Best racing game of recent times by miles.
I like both it and the Storm Island expansion a lot as you can see.
The thing about Horizon 2 though is that it is slap bang in the middle of arcade and sim, it is a simcade in the purist sense which I like a lot since I can just pick it up and go for a drive whatever the mood.
However I seen many people moan both that it is too realistic (you have to break for turns) and that the physics are bad (why you judging the physics in a game which has supercars doing off road racing?).
Either way I say buy it.

I say have a look again in six months time, it might be a lot better like with Forza 5 which would be great since I have 600 hours in Forza 5. Seriously this game is so close to being great but every time I begin to warm up to it some bullshit happens and I can’t be asked to keep playing for at least a good while.
